WhatsApp Registration

Most HBCC providers in Mombasa, Kisumu and Murang'a use WhatsApp daily. A guided conversational flow lets them register without leaving the app they already trust.

Try it: type hi on the simulated phone on the right. Each registration creates a real pending member record that the Secretariat then approves from the staff portal.

  • • Same data captured as the web form — just a different channel.
  • • All replies validated server-side before storage.
  • • Production target: WhatsApp Business API via Africa's Talking or 360dialog.
  • • KDPA consent confirmed in-flow before any data is stored.

Production cost (real WhatsApp Business)

Platform fee ~KES 1,500/month via Africa's Talking or 360dialog. Per-message costs are minimal for text. Voice and media incur higher per-message fees if used.
